About Us

Souris Valley United Way Youth Board was started in 2000 for the purpose of involving area youth in the distribution and effective use of United Way dollars for the provision of services to meet needs of the youth in the community.

The Youth Board represents youth in the community from our area high schools in identifying the needs of other local youth.

They identify funding priorities, review grant proposals and recommend funding.

Grant applications are accepted three times during the year. Funding cycle deadlines are January 31st, April 30th and September 30th.

If your area youth program or project is in need of funding, you are encouraged to apply.
