2015 Campaign Grant Awards

Souris Valley United Way Announces Grant Awards  
MINOT, ND – Souris Valley United Way announced 25 local area programs will receive grants totaling $419,570.  Each grant directly addresses the areas of Education, Financial Stability, and Health.
Grant recipients were recognized on Wednesday, April 27, 2016.
Todd Jensen, Board president stated, “SVUW continues to support Local programs which make a difference in our community.  The Community Building Committee did a great job interviewing the agencies and ensuring grant dollars will make an impact in the community.”  
“The message heard during the grant interviews was the increased demand for services due to the economic downturn.”  Patricia Smith, Executive Director went on to say, “That is why it is so important to grow the 2016 Campaign.”  
Program applications were accepted in the following areas and awarded:
