7th Annual Donor Recognition Luncheon

Join us as we unveil this year's campaign total!

Your role in our campaign...

Without the support of local businesses, individuals, groups, and organizations, together we wouldn't be able to make as large of an impact in our community as we do! Your gifts of time, talents, and resources are greatly appreciated. We hope that you join us in celebrating the successes of the year as well as hearing from one of our local partner programs about what types of services they provide to our area.

Come share with us your favorite fundraising event of the year, or a story about a program you've had the opportunity to volunteer with this year that you may not have in the past! The United Way is a community of donors, partners, advocates, and volunteers who share the belief that when we all work together, we can improve the health, education, and financial stability of every person in the community. Tell us why you #LiveUnited!

Northland Health Centers

Laura Larson, MS, LPCC-Mental Health Director is our guest speaker this year.  Laura will be speaking about mental health in the workplace.

Northland Health Centers mission is to deliver patient centered, accessible, quality-driven, medical, dental and behavioral healthcare to all generations to strengthen the health status in the communities we serve, regardless of the ability to pay.  In 2020, while navigating through the pandemic, Northland Health Centers applied for funding from Souris Valley United Way for an innovative project that would allow them to continue in-person therapy sessions with children.  With funds provided by SVUW, Northland Health Centers was able to create individual play therapy kits for kids that could be safely used during sessions.

You can visit their website by clicking here to learn more about their programs and services.

The fundraising is never over...

Although we are wrapping up one year's campaign, we have to keep in mind that there are programs that have needs to meet whether that's mouths to feed, beds to provide, or food to provide to elderly. To start off the 2020-2021 campaign with a BANG, we will be collecting donations at the luncheon that will benefit this year's speaker, Northland Health Centers. For every dollar that is raised at the event, up to $1,000, United Community Bank has generously offered to match it to help support a program that is doing great things for the people of our community.

Event information...

The luncheon is being held virtually on February 9, 2021 at 11:30 a.m.  A link to the virtual event will be shared with those registered on February 8th.  A luncheon package including a gift certificate for lunch and other SVUW goodies will be dropped off on February 8th for anyone that registers (only those living or working in Minot).  Make sure to register early.
